Newly restored, the Manoir de Pimelles in Burgundy, 2 hours 15 minutes from Paris, is the ideal setting for a family get-together, a relaxing break, a visit to Burgundy and its cellars and châteaux, or for working with colleagues in a timeless setting.
At Manoir de Pimelles, you'll enjoy a unique experience in a Renaissance setting (monumental fireplace, spiral staircase turret, mullioned windows, stained glass windows, terracotta floor tiles, Burgundy stone)!
Set in the heart of the countryside, this stately home was built in the 16th century and inhabited by Cistercian knights and abbots, who took refuge here during the great epidemics of the late Middle Ages.
Thanks to its south/west facing position, the Manoir is bathed in sunlight all day long, until late at night.
In the surrounding area, you can visit a number of wine cellars (Chablis, Tonnerre, Epineuil, Irancy, etc.) and taste some great Burgundy wines. The Manoir is also at the crossroads of the châteaux of Maulnes, Tanlay and Ancy-le-Franc, which are well worth a visit.
The Canal de Bourgogne and the River Armançon are also just a stone's throw away, making it a great place to cool off in summer.
The Manoir undertook its state-of-the-art restoration 4 years ago and in 2019 received the Patrice Besse - VMF national prize of honour for its exemplary restoration, under the aegis of the Fondation du patrimoine.
Capacity: 6 to 8 people. Information on 06 61 13 47 27.
Possibility of installing 2 marquees for up to 120 people.
