At the Manoir de Pimelles, you will live a unique experience in a Renaissance setting (monumental fireplace, spiral staircase turret, mullioned windows, stained glass windows, floor tiles, Burgundy stone)!
Situated in the middle of nature, this seigniorial residence was built in the 16th century and inhabited by Cistercian knights and abbots who found refuge there during the great epidemics at the end of the Middle Ages.
Thanks to its south / west exposure, the Manor is bathed in sunlight all day long and until late in the evening.
You can visit many wine cellars (Chablis, Tonnerre, Epineuil, Irancy ...) and taste great Burgundy wines. The Manor is also located at the crossroads of the castles of Maulnes, Tanlay and Ancy-le-Franc to visit.
The Burgundy canal and the Armançon river are also within walking distance, which is very useful in the summer for cooling off.
The Manor undertook its restoration according to the rules of the art 4 years ago and in 2019 received the Patrice Besse - VMF National Prize of Honour for its exemplary restoration, under the aegis of the Heritage Foundation.
