Beautiful and affordable dog friendly campsite and gîte.

On the flat, fully fenced grounds of 7500 m2 there is a nicely fenced holiday home for 2 persons (gîte) and a small dog campsite with 3 large fenced camping pitches.
Isolated and fenced rustic gîte.

Our typical atmospheric 2 person gîte is fully furnished, with a spacious atmospheric living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with sink, shower and separate toilet and a spacious bedroom with storage cupboards and a large comfortable double bed.

On the private enclosed terrace/garden there is a picnic table with parasol, 2 adjustable garden chairs and 2 sun loungers. The gite has its own private parking space next to the gite.
In the former stable/inn is the charming gîte for 2 people.
This is completely free of charge from our house.
The holiday home is fully fenced so that your dogs can walk freely. All dogs always stay free!
We have opted for three very large, fenced-in campsites at Camping Dog. The three camping pitches have a surface area of 400 m2 and are all individually fenced! No worries about sheep netting. There are plenty of trees providing shade on all the campsites! In the adjacent hiking forest it is nice and cool in summer.

Your motorhome, caravan or folding trailer can be parked on campsite (paved) 1.

You can pitch your own tent on campsites 2 and 3. There is also a caravan with a garden table and 2 chairs. There are two places to sleep in the caravan: handy if you don't have your own camping equipment but still want to camp with your dogs in beautiful nature.

You can of course use your own barbecue and/or gas cooker.
+ The gîte and the three camping pitches (approx. 400 m2) are fully fenced so that your dogs do not have to walk on a leash or with a hook. You don't have to worry about other dogs coming onto your site and urinating on your tent / caravan / camper or trailer tent.
+ On the large, flat, fenced playground, dogs can chase balls and play with other dogs.
+ We offer a childcare service.

+ we also have a bench on loan (free of charge)
+ there are many beautiful walks to do with the dogs. From our site you can walk directly into the forest. We have made several beautiful walking paths there! Other nice walking routes are waiting for you. The staff's map of the immediate area is also available for the gîte and for any camping.
+ There is also a pond on our playground where dogs can cool off (if there is water in it)

+ 5 minutes drive away (at the Canal du Nivernais) is a beautiful swimming pool where you can swim with your dogs.

In Les Chatillons and Les Bazois there is a good Dutch doctor and a good vet. If you wish, Frank will accompany you.

There is a separate parking space for cars, so that the beautiful view of the adjacent Commanderie wood is preserved.

In our orchard there is a large table with chairs where you can drink something together.

The gîte is open all year round. Dog camping starts on 1 April and closes after 3 November (autumn holidays).

Cleaning costs:

Dog sitting.

Per day up to 4 hours: 5,00 €.

Per part of a day up to 8 hours: 9,00 €.

Laundry service (per full drum, including detergent): € 4.50
