Guided tour of the Gallo-Roman city followed by the historical show Augustodunum
Founded by the sole will of the emperor Augustus, to whom it owes its name, Autun was built at the end of the 1st century BC, to accommodate the Eduans of Bibracte.
"Sister and emulator of Rome" is Autun's motto. This is no exaggeration, as Augustodunum was one of the jewels of Gallo-Roman cultural and commercial life.
Your guide will bring to life the prestige of this ancient city as you visit the Gallo-Roman monuments: the ancient theatre, Saint Andrew's Gate, the Temple of Janus, the ramparts and the Temple of Apollo.
This one-hour tour includes your seat for the evening show.
This package will take you back in time and is only available on Friday and Saturday nights.
