
The Roman Days of Autun
More than 80 speakers from all over France will be in Autun to present aspects of Gallo-Roman
of Gallo-Roman culture with interactive workshops, craft demonstrations, and
educational activities.
Highlights not to be missed:
- The imperial army, in full dress, with its marching and battle equipment;
life in the legionary camp
- The gladiators, these stars of Antiquity, high-level sportsmen from a codified institution

- The Gauls and their crafts
- The Greek army in combat demonstration
Programme :
- 10:00 to 10:30 a.m.: Tracing of Roman roads
- 10.30am to 11.15am: Gladiators, presentation of the gladiators and the fights
- 11.30am to 12.15pm: Manoeuvres of the Greek army
- 1.30 pm to 2 pm : Ode to Minerva
- 2.30 pm to 3.15 pm: Gladiators, presentation of the gladiators and the fights
- 3.45pm to 4.30pm : Manoeuvres of the Greek army
- 5.00 pm to 5.45 pm : The Imperial Army, presentation and manoeuvres of the Roman army
- 6 to 6.30pm: Gallia-Musica, evocation of ancient music
