At the end of September, a parents' meeting: there she is, "Burt's mother". The one we haven't seen for years, the one we'd probably rather not have seen again. There's no reason for her to be there, yet she's invited herself. So, as the main teacher was late, she got up and spoke. Fighting against her words, she tells her story, the story of her son, this "difficult child". She starts from the beginning, the very beginning, in the cinema where Burt was conceived. When she dreamt of Hollywood for him and dragged him along the roads of France so that he could achieve fame... Burt's mother makes us laugh! She's there to ask forgiveness, to explain and understand. And in the course of this clownish journey, a real emotion is gradually revealed. We come to understand who she is, and why she's there...
