Zamdane has found his colour, and his rhythm. The native of Marrakech, who has lived in Marseille since 2016, has been defending his acclaimed debut album, "Couleur de ma peine", for the past two years, in which he puts down what's on his heart without ever holding anything back. Teased for a year, his new album 'SOLSAD' is proving to be the project of consecration. After presenting it last May at two sold-out Olympia venues, followed by the most prestigious festivals this summer, Zamdane is now embarking on a tour of France and the major French-speaking capitals.
Since 'Couleur de ma peine', Zamdane has only produced songs that take him even further, showcasing his music tinged with a melancholy that he sublimates. He talks about Marseille, Morocco and everything in between. Teased for a year, notably at his first big Paris date - the 1,400-seat Cigale sold out in just three hours - then in front of the 9,000 people gathered in Marseille for his charity concert for the SOS Méditerranée association, the album 'SOLSAD' looks like being the project of consecration. He will be presenting it live over two days, with two one-off concerts at the Olympia on 14 and 15 May 2024.
