Visit to the Pavillon de la Solitude (Prissé)

Owned by the Académie de Mâcon, this small octagonal wooden pavilion is located on the grounds of the Château de Monceau in Prissé. Alphonse de Lamartine liked to retire here to write and meditate. It was here that he wrote part of L'histoire des Girondins.
