[SOLD OUT] As part of the 2024 Heritage Days, guided tours of the Horloge Tower, an emblematic monument in the town of Auxerre, are being organised. Bookings can be made online as soon as the H.H.D. programme is published at the end of August. Meet in front of the tower gate 5 minutes before departure. Maximum 8 people. Duration: 45 minutes.
The climb up the tower is a major physical effort, due to the ascent and descent of the steps (23m) and the narrowness of the access staircase.
People who are not allowed to visit:
- Anyone not wearing closed shoes, such as trainers, suitable for walking up and down 200 weather-worn steps.
- Pregnant women over 3 months
- Children under 3 years of age
- People with health problems, particularly cardiac, mobility or respiratory problems, or with limited physical capacity
- Claustrophobic people
For everyone's safety, the tour guides reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who does not comply with these conditions.
From 21/09/24 to 22/09/24 of 10:00 to 17:00
Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September, from 10 am to 4 pm (every half-hour).
