Théâtre d'objets - From 7 years - Cie La Salamandre.
An art of tinkering that tells the story of a beautiful love story in the middle of the sea spray.
Un océan d'amour is originally a brilliant comic strip by Wilfrid Lupano and Grégory Panaccione that smells of iodine and seaweed.
Here, two protagonists in grey lab coats tell the magnificent story of the romance between a lost sailor and his grieving wife, with a minimum of words (because the two are as taciturn as can be) and a maximum of paper (because they are also very good with their hands). By folding, crumpling, tearing and cutting up a vast quantity of paper, these two magicians of reams of paper conjure up before your eyes characters, props and sets for a unique odyssey full of twists and turns, at once utterly burlesque and deeply lucid about the excesses of the modern world. Close to the world of Jacques Tati, this silent but noisy theatre of objects, modest in its set-up but refined in its writing and performance, will leave no one on the sand and will even stir up some fine waves of emotion...
