How can he get rid of his mistress "Lucette", a pretty singer of naughty café-concerts and an icon of nightlife, and marry the respectable Viviane, who is beautiful, young and above all wealthy? Despite her many suitors, "Lucette" remains madly in love with her lover. So, using her imagination, she does everything she can to keep him under her thumb...
