Bacri and Jaoui's cult classic, a ferociously funny and true social satire.
Every week, the Mesnard family meets up at Henri's café for a meal at the Dukes of Brittany! It's a great family evening where everyone can 'meet up'. What's more, it's Yolande's daughter-in-law's birthday! But that evening, one person will be missing: Arlette, Henri's wife, who has left for a week to think things over.
There, the dreaded word is out: to think. And what is there to think about? There's nothing to think about when you live in a good family, where you belong, in that famous place that others have given you... out of love, of course! Above all, you have to know how to stay there. And thinking is dangerous, for everyone. Because if you think too much, you run the risk of thinking, or rather of 'healing' your own life, which has been damaged by the way others look at you.
