Tibert in concert

I love travelling. There, I've said it all. It's not just that I like to travel, it's a kind of life habit that has taken hold, a nourishing movement that keeps me alive and that I share by writing and composing. Every time I start writing, I get the same feeling: a song is a departure and the beginning of somewhere else. You set off to meet someone, something, and you discover a piece of yourself, a piece of freedom.
A tireless globetrotter, Tibert returns from his travels with Tranche Désir, his latest album. Never complex, yet always poetic, his writing has the flavour of the worlds we dream of and the strength of those we inhabit.
Whether solo or accompanied on stage by Denis Favrichon, the music is equally familiar and surprising. There's a real sense of freedom here, with instrumental parts reinvented at each concert, moments of grace in the harmonies, the percussive energy of nervous riffs, and improvised parts: a lively concert serving a singular universe.
