The long-awaited new album by British alternative rock band The House of Love, founded in 1986 by frontman, singer and songwriter Guy Chadwick, was released last September!
Recorded with a new line-up, originally put together for a 30th anniversary US tour, 'A State Of Grace' is an eclectic collection of tracks, ranging from the grungy, driving 'Clouds' to the atmospheric, eerie groove of 'Sweet Loser', the powerful ballad 'In My Mind' and the folky finale 'Just One More Song'. This is the first time the band's recordings have featured instruments such as harp, pedal and lap steel guitar, banjo and fiddle, adding to the unique guitar sounds we have come to know and love from The House of Love.
