Soñadero

Inspired by the traditions of Cuban rumba and New York descargas, Soñadero plays with polyrhythmic motifs for the sake of polyrhythmic motifs, appropriating Cuban folklore through musical and evolving pieces. Dreamlike or festive, sometimes romantic, the music composed by guitarist Paul de Robillard transcends this tradition while putting improvisation and dialogue between the musicians at the centre of the game.
