Serge Merlaud and Pascal Gaubert - Jazz Quartet

Serge Merlaud and Pascal Gaubert are long-time accomplices. Their collaboration began exactly 30 years ago, when they spent a month playing together as a quintet at the Meridien Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
Their passion for sound, melody and swing forged their collaboration. Since then, they have taken part in countless projects as a duo, trio or quartet (Duc des Lombards, Vintage-Honfleur, Festival du Jardin d'Acclimatation...). The group offers a repertoire of original compositions as well as a few jazz 'standards', with an emphasis on the quality of the orchestration and interpretation of the themes as much as the solos. They recorded the CD "West Vancouver". Jean Pierre Rebillard and Edouard Falière accompany them on double bass and drums.
