MY LITTLE
Perrine Vrignault, singer and accordionist, explores traditional Poitevin song with a disconcerting freshness. She's joined by three adventurous musicians: the two Maximes, Dancre and Barbeau, with their hypnotic rhythmic pathways, and trumpeter Paul Weeger, who breathes new life into the music. It's the perfect blend to take tradition and turn it into tribal material, the power of which will be unleashed at Café Charbon.
TRADITIONAL MUSIC ENSEMBLES FROM NEVERS AND VICHY
The two ensembles - 40 musicians - from the Conservatoires de musique et d'art dramatique de Nevers and Vichy Communauté, have pooled their dance repertoires to share this first part. With teachers Claire Bard (violin), Olivier Gitenait (bagpipes), Daniel Langlois (bagpipes), Laurence Pinchemaille (hurdy-gurdy), Baptiste Poulet (hurdy-gurdy) and Cyril Roche (diatonic accordion).
A CMAD/AMTCN/Café Charbon co-production.
