Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet love each other despite the hatred of their families. There are countless plays, films and musicals based on this work, but the most famous interpretation is Sergei Prokofiev's ballet, presented here by the Kiev Grand Ballet. The Kiev Grand Ballet is a highly successful Ukrainian classical dance ensemble. Its members come from the best theatres, opera houses and ballet schools in Ukraine. Its director, who takes part in this very rigorous selection process, is Alexander Stoyanov, a world-renowned ballet star. The ballet's repertoire consists primarily of the great works of classical dance: Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Carmen, Giselle, Don Quixote and many others. The beauty and perfection of their performances and their reputation have led them to perform all over the world, most recently in the United States, Mexico, Holland and Japan.
