By the ensemble Les Sonadori.
This show is part of the Arts et Scènes Côte-d'Or season organised by the Conseil Départemental de la Côte-d'Or.
In this show, Les Sonadori, with the complicity of the audience, will try to reconcile Isabella, a lutenist fond of dance, song and light music, with Ferdinando, our violist, a lover of learned forms, in a joust full of wit and surprises! It's a concert-show based on musical games and riddles from the Renaissance, offering a fun way to discover the craziest musical forms, with projected images: canons, mirrored scores, and other marvels in the shape of crosses, ladders and so on. Unique on today's music scene, made up of five historic violins and a lute, the ensemble Les Sonadori has developed a deep, luminous sound, as well as upright, staged playing that brings a band of moving violins back to life. Revue Diapason, Denis Morier (5 diapasons), CD L'ars de' Sonadori: "Here is something unheard of, something unexpected: an invitation to reconsider the sound image we had of the early violin repertoire". Suitable for all ages 8 and upwards Duration: 1 hour
