Raphaëlle Pia

At the age of 20, she discovered painting and obtained the agrégation d'Arts Plastiques. While teaching, she never stopped painting. Fascinated by this culturally rich city, she settled there permanently. Today she occupies a studio of the City of Paris, overlooking a natural garden, next to the Père Lachaise cemetery. The subjects of her paintings are often captured in the countryside or forests and painted in a half-abstract, half-figurative manner.
