When you believe in your dreams, you stick to them, you persist and finally they come true. This is what happened to Vincent Hanrion, the founder of the Cinécyclo project, and the Senegalese journalist Yoro Dialo, who toured Senegal by bicycle. They are transporting electrically autonomous projection equipment (a generator adapted to the bicycle, a mini-projector, a speaker and a white canvas) to offer free screenings from village to village. During this itinerary, contacts are made and the difficulties encountered by the populations, the environment and the protection of nature are discussed. In the wake of Cinécyclo, this film explores a unique concept that combines adventure, the broadcasting of animated films and environmental awareness, and gives some ideas for development.
Nearly 3,000 kilometres were covered, a hundred or so screenings were held and more than 12,000 spectators benefited from the 7th art under the stars, with the driving force of meeting and sharing.
