Opening of the Villa Perrusson

It's the opening of the interiors of the Villa Perrusson! On this occasion, come and discover a photographic exhibition, meet the restorers or enjoy a guided tour!

Exhibition "The Villa Perrusson Unveils Itself, A Look at a Metamorphosis" (from 2pm to 6pm)

Between 2014 and 2016, the work on this catalogue villa began with the restoration of its roof, its facades and the rehabilitation of its garden. The interior works of the Perrusson and Desfontaines pavilions were carried out between September 2019 and September 2022.
The photographic report on the work site that you are about to discover was produced by Mr Daniel Busseuil, former photographer of the Écomusée who followed the restoration campaign of the exteriors, and by Mr Xavier Spertini, photographer specialised in industrial heritage, for the interiors. By following the eye of the photographers, you will discover restoration techniques, architectural details, as well as the trades and skills that contributed to the restoration of this former employer's residence from the second half of the 19th century.

Meeting with the restorers of decorative paintings and ceramics of the Perrusson villa (from 3pm to 5pm)

The Creusot Montceau Ecomuseum invites you to meet the restorers of decorative painting and ceramics of the Perrusson villa to discover their know-how during a presentation-demonstration. For example, you will be able to understand the different stages of making a faux-wood decoration and a ceramic moulding.
This event is offered as part of the European Crafts Days and is part of the Rendez-vous d'Exception de Saône-et-Loire.
