For its new creation, the company "Ça baigne dans l'huile" proposes a real immersion in the universe of New Orleans.
In this show, where the pictorial gestures of a painter and the sounds of six instruments are combined, the spectator attends the tumultuous and rocky adventures of a brass band, pretexts for the played and sung interpretation of great standards of New Orleans music.
The audience will see the band take shape through the encounters and friendships that develop between the musicians.
Because a brass band is first and foremost an unusual crossbreeding of sounds between strange instruments with very different colours, shapes and timbres.
Because a brass band is also the companion of the events of the life of New Orleans.
Because this show is also an invitation to dance, to cry or to laugh, in short, it is a joyful, moving, sonic mess!
