Humour with a comedian and a wind band
The Orchestre d'Harmonie du Grand Sénonais brings together a brass band, a music school, a street band - the "Senon Street Band", and a jazz band - the "Senon Jazz Band". Made up of amateurs from all walks of life, it is an intergenerational association with members aged from 12 to 80. It is chaired by Olivier Dupré and has been directed since November 2022 by David Riva, principal trumpet of the Orchestre d'Harmonie de la Préfecture de Police de Paris since 1998 and trumpet teacher at the Paris Conservatoire since 2012.
The orchestra has been classified in the 'Superior' division since 2015. The band's music school teaches the wind and percussion instruments that make up a wind band, as well as instrumental music training.
The orchestra has decided to invite Manoche to put on a special show, combining humour and music, conducting an ensemble and the zany antics of a one-of-a-kind conductor. It's Manoche's first time at the baton for a carte blanche. But in the thrill of it all, the senses mingle. Between the orchestra, the audience and Manoche, who will conduct whom? Come and join in the fun!
