Between dance and theatre, Julie Gouju takes us on a journey through adolescence bursting with energy and humour.
"What's wrong with dancing like that?" ends a moment of ecstasy at a campsite party... Julie was 15 at the time and recalls this maternal ban. On stage, a black wall bears like slogans the words of a revolution that is about to smash the frames: scream, fire, brawl, caress, novelty, seduction, injury, love... They are all chapters in this solo that conjures up adolescence with its whirlwind of unsettling, cruel and thrilling emotions. Julie Gouju tells her story with her body and her voice, supported by the soundtrack of beatboxer Scratchy. With a desire to bring generations together, playing with the audience, she invites us to experience the vertigo of a dance born of adolescence and which has never stopped since... A beautiful Manège!
