The development of the sciences of the universe in the 18th century and the contribution of the Auxois region
The Semur branch of the Société Astronomique de Bourgogne (Burgundy Astronomical Society) wanted to promote the history of astronomy and other sciences, now known as the sciences of the Universe.
This exhibition is based on works from the heritage collection of the Semur-en-Auxois Library. It bears witness to the interest shown by intellectuals in astronomy from the Renaissance onwards.
