The Nuits d'Orient is a festival that has become one of the highlights of Dijon's cultural life.
Organised by the city, it federates the know-how of many cultural centres, associations and neighbourhood structures, not to mention the talent of the inhabitants themselves.
The festival poses the intercultural dialogue between East and West as a challenge for civilisation and as the basis for its existence and development.
About a hundred events will take place for this 22nd edition in all the districts of Dijon and in the metropolis by about sixty partners.
As usual, the programme will be eclectic, plural and abundant. Music, dance, storytelling, theatre, reading, cinema, poetry, exhibitions, meetings, conferences, artistic workshops and participative projects built with the inhabitants will allow us to travel beyond the Mediterranean.
It focuses on current migration issues, the place of women in our Western and Eastern societies, artists and associations committed to diversity and cultural mediation.
