Alternatives Economiques, with the support of the City of Dijon, Dijon Métropole and the Regional Council of Burgundy-Franche-Comté, is organising a series of days on the theme of "The economy in a different way" in Dijon.
Why hold the Alternative Economy Days?
From the outset, the aim of the Alternative Economy Days has been to highlight the contribution of the SSE, and particularly its most innovative forms, to the transformation of the economy and society.
Conceived by Philippe Frémeaux, the Journées de l'économie autrement were born out of a meeting between the teams of the SCOP Alternatives Economiques, whose head office is in Quétigny, a municipality in the Dijon metropolitan area, and elected officials from this metropolitan area and the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region.
They share the conviction that the SSE has a major role to play in the emergence of the new business model that we need to build, a model that is sustainable, produces well-being for all and mobilises everyone's initiative. This will help us to overcome the fourfold economic, social, ecological and democratic crisis affecting our society.
