
Les Écrans de l’aventure – Festival international du film d’aventure
The 24th edition of the Adventure Film Festival in Dijon will be chaired by Catherine MAUNOURY, passionate aerobatics.
Patented pilot since the age of 17, a graduate in philosophy, Catherine Maunoury was twice world champion in aerobatics and ten times champion of France.
In September 2010, she has been selected by the Minister of Defence to manage the Museum of Air and Space, a leading aviation museums in the world, with nearly 400 aircraft collection with 150 exposed, the only one talk about ballooning, air and space. More than just an exhibition, it plans the Museum of Air and Space as a real place of exchange and emotion. Highlighting the relationship between planes and men is part of its objectives. She uses all her strength to eventually establish a true museum itinerary and a more coherent presentation of the collections, to develop a creative and interactive cultural mediation policy.
