After Uchon and Autun, this year's festival will take place opposite the Sommant lake during the European Heritage Days. Hailing from France, South Korea, Spain, Ireland, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Japan, 14 musicians and one visual artist will be presenting their creations from Friday evening to Sunday morning.
Two passes:
- 2 days / 2 nights from 20 to 22/09/2024 from 5pm on Friday to 5am on Sunday,
- 1 day / 1 night from 21 to 22/09/2024 from 12 noon on Saturday to 5am on Sunday.
A festival dedicated to the discovery of regional heritage, contemporary music and the visual arts. A festival showcasing local producers working to promote short circuits and those involved in preserving and protecting the environment. A festival immersed in the Morvan Natural Park, respecting and promoting its natural and cultural heritage.
This event favours a restricted format to ensure optimum comfort in terms of listening and space; a unique stage to promote emerging and established artists; a natural setting conducive to the discovery of musical works and artistic installations; an ecologically responsible approach to limit its environmental impact.
The project has a number of aims: to promote the European and international artistic scene, to stimulate and strengthen the cultural and creative network across the département and the region; to help promote and enhance the natural and cultural heritage of Burgundy-Franche-Comté; to encourage short circuits and thus the local economy.
MUSIC
Fascinated by electronic musical adventures, they go off the beaten track and recount their introspective journey with humility and sincerity. Led by Alfonso Pomeda, artistic director of Mostra BCN, a festival in Barcelona that showcases artists on the fringes of mainstream electronic culture, the line-up will include Cobahn (KR), Estrato Aurora (ES), Everest (FR), Garçon (CH), Javier Salazar (FR), Jong (FR), Lynne (JP), Margaux Gazur (FR), Metshka (FR), Myles Dillon (IR), Nathalia (BG) Occa (JP), Roman Delore (FR) and Vardae (FR).
VISUAL ARTS
Alice Bidault's research attempts to define the concept of contemporary archaeology. This notion combines history and collective memory with architecture, within a field practice. It takes account of absent elements, or the absence of context, as generators of potential fictions, thus questioning our relationship to knowledge, and the role that artists play in it. Her artistic approach involves a sensitive reappropriation of scientific and epistemological methods through a variety of media. Her work is first and foremost a language of materials, a tension between natural, organic elements taken from her living environment and old objects or gleaned materials that find a new lease of life in sculpture.
HERITAGE
Having already spotlighted the Théâtre de Verdure in Uchon and the Pierre de Couhard in Autun, the Pauza association is now turning its spotlight on the Valogne lake, an unspoilt site much sought-after for its pastoral charm.
Valogne, an unspoilt area much sought after for its bucolic charm, both by fishermen and tourists visiting the region. The artists will be staying at the Château de Valogne, just 200 metres from the site,
an architectural marvel built in the second half of the 19th century, blending several styles. Burgundy wines, Morvan beers, local fruit, vegetables and meats will be on offer throughout the event to introduce the public to the region's gastronomy.
