By Pocket Théâtre.
Part of the Arts et Scènes Côte-d'Or season organised by the Conseil Départemental de la Côte-d'Or.
Combining freshness and commitment, imagination and experience, caricature and truth, this light-hearted, lively show recounts with humour, passion and derision the hectic adventures of a young novice postman. The story is simple but captivating. By delighting us with the little things that make up everyday life, Léon, at once tender and profound, reveals how boring it would be to see things the way everyone else does... and discreetly asks us about the moment when we decide what job we're going to do when we grow up! Pocket Théâtre, founded in 2006 by Thierry Combe, has developed a form of documentary theatre that uses intimate material as its main source of inspiration. Wishing to deal with strong social issues, the company tackles serious and sensitive questions (with humour and mischief) through the prism of a particular life trajectory. In a way, the approach is to draw on the intimate to better reach the universal.
