The Quinconce ensemble

Dance, mime and music: a show that Jacques TATI would not have disowned!
The show shows a rehearsal and the concert that follows. Five performers gather in the living room of one of the musicians for a final rehearsal. Before our eyes, in the half-light, the set is transformed into a concert stage and the performers don their elegant costumes. We pass from everyday life to the magic of performance.
Ensemble Quinconce is a wordless show in which the characters are musicians, and music and movement theatre take the place of language.
The tone is poetic, offbeat and discreetly burlesque, to show the magic that happens when the artists take to the stage. With a touch of light-hearted madness that makes this work so special.
