Get your papers and notebooks ready, because this summer you'll be writing!
The L'École Buissonnière festival invites you to take up both the pen and the field. It is in an old farmhouse in the heart of the Burgundy countryside, in the commune of La-Chapelle-sous-Brancion (71), that you will join the ranks of a community of budding or experienced writers for a weekend of exchange and creation.
Led by the five members of the FàPE collective (Frontières à Petite Échelle - Marie HL, Manon Secq, Lili Nyssen, Floriane Gitenay and Juliette Buffard), this festival aims to offer a creative friction zone, a literary interlude in a community, a time to read, write and meet.
Within this parenthesis, conceived as a summer university, writing workshops, poetic scenes and literary encounters will be held alongside concerts and moments of conviviality. Contrary to the elitist image that contemporary literature can sometimes have, the École Buissonnière is designed so that everyone can go beyond the status of spectator and take an active part in writing. The main idea is to propose a horizontal dynamic between everyone. In this space-time of uninhibited creation, the party will coexist with artistic emulation, the recognised authors with the writers in the making, thus allowing relationships to be initiated without hierarchy. So, will you join us?
