Le Mois de la Plèchie - Millay

Morvan Ecomuseum workshop
Plèchie workshop, all day from Monday 17 to Friday 21 February in Millay. Meet at 10am at Les Vernes, route de Saint-Honoré.

Plèchie Month returns to the region from 1 February to 15 March 2025 with more than 30 workshops open to all!
This is an opportunity for the Park and the Association des Plècheux du Morvan to perpetuate this hedge maintenance technique, which involves cutting, laying and interlacing living branches between stakes to form a fence and encourage new growth. Practised for centuries in the Morvan, it remains a relevant practice today for preserving hedges, hedgerows, biodiversity and soil.
