Swan Lake by the Grand Ballet of Kiev. A universally famous ballet.
If there is one ballet that is universally famous, it is Swan Lake. Created for the first time at the Bolshoi, the success of this ballet would not come until Marius Petipa revived it, and it is the choreography that is presented on this tour by the Grand Ballet of Kiev. Swan Lake tells the story of Prince Siegfried and Odette, who is condemned to turn into a swan at dawn. The spell can only be broken by marrying the young girl. However, the sorcerer responsible for the curse introduces his own daughter, a perfect Odette lookalike, to the prince, who blindly declares his love for her.
Having confessed his feelings to the wrong person, Siegfried condemns the woman he loves forever.
The performance by the artists from the famous Kiev Grand Ballet leaves no one indifferent. It's a show for all the family, for young and old, a symphony of dance, touching and marvellous, a masterpiece of classical ballet.
