L'art à 20 balles or L'art a 20 ans

It all began with a letter from Patrice Ferrari to which was attached a twenty-franc note, sent spontaneously to artists of the contemporary scene in exchange for something of their art.
Nearly 250 well-known and little-known artists responded positively to the artistic concept.
From Ben to Lawrence Weiner, from Georg Baselitz to Sol LeWitt, the works that make up "Art with 20 Bullets" reflect most of the contemporary art movements on the national and international scene.
The very first exhibition of this collection took place in Ligny-en-Brionnais in 2002, followed in 2003 by exhibitions at the Galerie Interface in Dijon and the Grands Bains Douches in Marseille.

For the 20th anniversary of the association, Esox Lucius is pleased to exhibit again this collection, which marked the beginnings of the association.
An edition retracing the atypical journey of Esox Lucius will be presented to the public during this exhibition.
