A couple are expecting friends for dinner, but they never arrive...
Was it an accident, a separation, a burglary? In their search for the reason for their absence, the man and woman argue about the couple's friends. Naturally, the woman takes the side of her friend Catherine and the man of his colleague David.
As they confront their radically opposed visions, they engage in one absurd misunderstanding after another and intimate revelations, unwittingly calling into question the very foundations of their own relationship.
Round after round, the plot twists and turns lead the match, giving us a fast-paced, spicy and exhilarating behind-closed-doors thriller.
Written with a scalpel, the dialogue is sharp, corrosive and intelligent. Machismo versus feminism, prejudice, desire, love and the test of time are just some of the themes in this tale full of truths that can make you laugh... or worry!
