The castle of Lantilly, built in 1709, offers an exceptional view of the Laumes valley - Alesia.
The castle of Lantilly, known as the "castle of a hundred windows", can only be visited during the Heritage Days. It has been in the family for 250 years.
Surrounded by an English-style park, it has some remarkable trees and a splendid view of the Laumes-Alesia valley and the surrounding countryside.
The flowered kitchen garden, restored in 2000 by the landscape designer Camille Muller with the owners Claire and Bertrand de Virieu, is classified as a Remarkable Garden.
With a surface area of 1 hectare, it has the atypical shape of an eye.
Structured by hornbeam, boxwood and yew hedges, it has several rooms:
The greenhouse garden or herb garden,
the flower garden around the hut,
the pond garden or Zen garden,
in the centre, the vegetable beds where flowers and vegetables are mixed.
