Discover and visit a modern-day heritage site, an eco-friendly house designed around the gigantic trunk of a two-hundred-year-old cedar.
4 visits have been scheduled by Cyril BRUYAS, the owner.
Visit and explanations of this round house built around the gigantic trunk of a cedar that was about to go to the sawmill, with walls made of straw mixed with earth, clay etc... Walls harder than reinforced concrete, a magical green roof, with magical and marvellous plantings coming from the wind and sky every season. A spring at the bottom of this large plot of land, a small waterfall, two areas of water where animals and birds come to quench their thirst; the water reappears in a trough on the public highway which disappears under the road and will give birth to the river "le Rhoin". Cyril BRUYAS, long-time gardening master and great steward of the Parc de la Bouzaise, will be delighted to tell you the story of the house around the cedar tree.
He has asked Jean Claude COTTIER, a renowned pianist and composer, and a great protector of natural spaces, trees and gardens, to join him in his work over these two days.
