Johan Papaconstantino

Johan Papaconstantino's music is like a sunset in the creeks at the tip of Marseille, a more intense stroll in the port of Piraeus. Or simply the moods, hearts and celebrations of a self-taught young man from Marseille who goes from brush to microphone. The artist produces a global work by transposing his feelings through music and painting, drawing his inspiration from both arts.
Accompanied by his guitar, his bouzouki and his machines, he gives a second life to the Rebetiko, the music of his childhood, that of his parents, but above all that of the underworld of Athens in the 1930s.
