In "Île", choreographer Lohan Jacquet stages a fictional work about the environment and the depletion of the planet's resources.
He takes as his inspiration one of the hypotheses behind the collapse of Easter Island, according to which excessive deforestation rendered its land uncultivable and precipitated the end of its society.
Four performers face the loss of their last resources. Buoyed by the electronic music of artist Mézinc, they use their resilience to try out a new relationship with others in order to create a more harmonious and united space.
