Why do humans write, compose music and go to the moon?
Based on a solid scientific, philosophical and ethical foundation, Humains succeeds in the challenge of enchanting and learning thanks to a lively text, an innovative stage, a seductive interpretation and innovative musicality.
In the middle of the stage, Narcisse slams or declaims his text. He shares the stage with Robin Pagès, an eclectic electric guitarist and keyboardist. They are joined by some twenty perfectly matched hologram artists: a Mandingo percussionist, a cellist, a baroque oboist and a hip-hop dancer...
The performance is remarkable, in its writing, music and dramaturgy.
This theatrical-musical UFO is like a lecture-show, with the energy communicated to the audience. Narcisse has enlisted the help of eminent ethnographers, archaeologists, philosophers, astrophysicists, historians, biologists and geneticists for the text.
These wells of science and meaning nonetheless make you want to get out of your seat, dance and join the stage, with a sense of sharing that recalls David Allen's group Gong.
This is a show of the highest quality, and an actor who will sweep you off your feet.
Special mention must go to Jean Philippe Daguerre's direction, whose talent is a perfect match for Narcisse's poetry. A winning combination!
