A pianist since the age of 4, Hélène Tysman has travelled the world from North America to Japan, via Brazil, China, the Middle East, Russia and the whole of Europe.

Hailed by the international press for her "warm touch and dreamy sensibility" (The New York Times), her "extraordinary interpretation" (Le Figaro), "of rare finesse and intensity" (Télérama) and her "poetic" playing (The Daily Telegraph), described as a "pianistic cosmos" by the Süddeutsche Zeitung, Hélène Tysman loves exploring worlds. Beyond music, beyond her career as a pianist, she is a seeker of the Sound of the Soul (the title of one of the texts she regularly writes on her blog or for journals such as Pianiste or La Lettre du Musicien).

The press praises her solo and chamber music recordings (Chopin, Ravel, Schumann, Bach). A regular guest on radio and television, she has performed on some of the world's greatest stages, including Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York, Salle Gaveau and the Philharmonie de Paris, City Hall Theater in Shanghai, the Cairo Opera House and the Neue Halle in Weimar, and plays with orchestras the world over (Riverside Symphony Orchestra, NFM Philharmonie, Orchestre Pasdeloup, Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, etc.).

Hélène Tysman likes to broaden her artistic horizons by collaborating with other disciplines, in particular actors such as Francis Huster, Dominique Pinon, Jacques Gamblin and Michel Robin.
