Guédelon is taking part in the 2024 Fête de la Science with an exceptional programme!
All our ovens will be in action: tile and pot firing (Saturday), iron ore reduction (Sunday), lime production and bread baking (over the 3 days).
Builders' workshop and introduction to archaeology (free entry subject to availability).
Olfactory and gustatory challenges for all the family.
Auditory experiments. Mylène Pardoën, archaeologist of the soundscape, Guillaume Lavoué, researcher in virtual reality, and their teams (CNRS) will share with you their research carried out at Guédelon.
And of course... our entire experimental archaeology site to (re)discover!
