GRANDES HEURES DE CLUNY : Gabriel PIDOUX
Gabriel Pidoux has been named Revelation for the Victoires de la Musique Classique 2020, in the category "instrumental soloist". The 23 year old oboist wishes to give his letters of nobility to the repertoire for wind instruments in the concert halls and proposes the programme "Romance", CD published by Alpha Classics in February 2022. Gabriel PIDOUX is accompanied on piano by Jorge GONZALES BUAJASAN.
A student at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris in the class of Jacques Tys and Frédéric Tardy, Gabriel plays in various ensembles such as the Ensemble Erasme, Les Solistes de Zagreb... He performs in several festivals in France and abroad.
His programme includes romances by Clara and Robert Schuman, three pieces by Leoplod Wallner, Marina Dranishnikova's Poem and finally Edward Elgar's Salut d'amour!
