Discover a varied and emotionally rich programme with the Voce String Quartet, featuring four masterpieces from the French classical repertoire. The concert opens with Germaine Tailleferre's String Quartet, composed in 1919, followed by Gabriel Fauré's String Quartet. You will also hear Bruno Mantovani's String Quartet No. 5, a contemporary work specially dedicated to the Voce. The evening will close with Maurice Ravel's String Quartet, in its 1903 version dedicated to Gabriel Fauré.
Since 2018, the Ouverture! festival has stood out as the only event entirely devoted to the French classical repertoire. Each year, it brings together virtuoso musicians and ensembles in the splendid Auxois and Morvan regions. We look forward to welcoming you to this seventh edition, where the richness of French music will be celebrated.
