Festival: Nevers in blue

"Nevers en Bleu" is an artistic and cultural festival conceived by La Verrière NEVERS to highlight arts and crafts and art in general by inviting the public to wander around the town thanks to the programme made available to them.

The festival runs from 14 September to 6 October.
The festival is divided into two parts:

1) Main exhibition: A series of exhibitions organised by La Verrière at 5 different venues:
- Bleu de poche at La Verrière (38 Avenue François Mitterrand). Open from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6.30pm from Tuesday to Saturday.
- Grand Bleu at Galerie Arko (3 Place Mossé). Open Fridays from 3pm to 8pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 1pm and from 3pm to 8pm.
- It's blue outside at the Musée de la Faïence et des Beaux Arts (16 Rue Saint Genest). Open Mondays and Wednesdays to Sundays from 10am to 1pm and from 2pm to 6pm.
- Bleu, blanc, clic ! at the Camara shop (39 Avenue Général de Gaulle). Open Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 7pm.
- Ascension bleue at the Dalbe shop (63 Rue François Mitterrand). Open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 7pm.

2) Related events: workshops, exhibitions organised by other organisations, associations, shops and craftsmen.
- Le bateau retrouvé" exhibition at Terrains communs (25 Boulevard de la République) from 14/09 at 10am. This boat sailed on this ancient bed of the Nièvre. Time has passed and given the dream its colour. Discover the work in the Terrains Communs garden.

- Bleu de toi" exhibition at Galerie Artis Show (23 Rue Saint Etienne) from 19/09 at 6pm. Open Tuesday to Saturday from 5pm to 8pm. Artists : Nathalie, Sylvie Preud'homme and Odin.

- Exhibition "Les Illus' en Bleu" at the Chapelle Sainte Marie (Rue Saint Martin) from 14/09 to 06/10 from 10am to 7pm (closed on Mondays). Opening on 19/09 at 7pm. 13 artists offer an immersive graphic experience in the heart of the Chapelle Sainte Marie. Free admission.

- Salon de l'Oratoire" exhibition at the "A la Tapisserie" shop (11 Rue de l'Oratoire), opening on 20/08 at 6pm and open Fridays from 2pm to 7pm and Saturdays from 10am to 7pm. Exhibitions by Loufabric, Plume, Céline Pigeot, After Sellerie and Xavier Warnant. Information on 06.20.27.60.04

- Blue decoration" workshops/demonstrations at Faïencerie Georges (7 Quai de Mantoue) from Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 7pm. Decorate your plate in cobalt blue on biscuit using stencils and oxide pencils. For children aged 12 and over. Price: €10 per small plate.

- Blue blown glass" exhibition at La Verrière, Boutique de créateurs (38 Rue François Mitterrand) on Saturday 21/09 at 4pm. Demonstration and exhibition of spun glass by artist Carole Lebouleux. Book on 06.65.17.04.57

- Cyanotype workshops at Atelier de la voisine (33 Rue de Nièvre) on 26/09 from 2pm to 4pm. Come and learn this marvellous technique that will reveal incredible shades of blue. Bookings on 06.60.68.74.46
