A show about voting systems, democracy, commitment and seasonal vegetables.
Antoine Linguinou and Leïla Déaux, an authoritative duo with an incisive sense of humour, tell us the story of democracy, with a small h: from ancient Greece to the present day. Through a series of offbeat tableaux revolving around voting, the drawing of lots and the democracy index, the play introduces us to the various concepts that make up democracy as we understand it today.
The whole play oscillates between the utmost seriousness and the absurdity of the world.
