Fred Pougeard has let himself be carried away by Ovid's river-poem of fabulous and terrible twists and turns, whose stories are mirrors of our own moults. They shed light on our own intimate metamorphoses. The storyteller's free adaptation, accompanied by Renaud Collet and his instrumentarium, is inspired by the distant fragrance of Alexandre Vialatte's delightful chronicles: a way of laughing at the gods, ourselves and our times.
