FARG'À FOND

The Friends of Farges invite you to the second edition of the Farg'à Fond on June 24th 2023. A soapbox race, in a festive and relaxed atmosphere. Drivers of all ages, passionate about DIY, launch themselves on board vehicles built from recycled materials. The descent takes place on a 1000-metre steep slope, with obstacles and tight bends.

Come and cheer on the participants, who compete with each other in the design of their vehicles. Creativity is the order of the day, whether it be for the shape, the colours, or even the names given to the vehicles.
Proud of their creation, the result of long hours of work and reflection, they savour every moment of the course, in search of adrenaline, but above all of the human adventure that the soapbox race represents.

Three refreshment stands will be available throughout the course, whether you want to quench your thirst, have a snack or simply rest.
You will be able to find cold drinks, sweet and salty snacks, and even hot meals. The volunteers will be delighted to welcome you and serve you with a smile.

The festivities continue in the evening with the traditional Feux de la Saint-Jean. The Friends of Farges await you for a moment of relaxation with a meal, concert and fireworks.
This is an opportunity to get together with friends or family to celebrate the arrival of summer in a festive and friendly atmosphere.
