Temporary exhibition "Comme un écho" Edith Basseville

For the 2024 season, the Musée Gorsline is inviting artist Edith Basseville! Entitled "Comme un écho", this exhibition resonates with the work of painter and illustrator Douglas Gorsline. Edith Basseville will be presenting a series of drawings and collages, as well as two wooden sculptures that make particular reference to the principle of image splitting dear to the American artist. Edith Basseville has also created a 3.60-metre-long polyptych especially for this exhibition. It is made up of six panels of engraved and painted plywood, inspired by one of Gorsline's compositions.
